The Graduate Programmes of the University of Lille offer International Mobility Grants for Masters and PhD students involved in the Graduate Programmes.

International Mobility Grant

 

  • Eligibility: Enrolled M1, M2, and Ph.D. Students within a Graduate Programmes: Explore International Mobility Opportunities in Foreign Laboratories, Public and Private Institutions, Archives, International Organizations, and Other Relevance-Aligned Institutions for Research or Internships.

    NB Participation in international conferences is not eligible.
    NB Participation in regional mobility in France is not eligible.
     
  • Grant Evaluation criteria: Consistency and Pertinence of the Mobility Project with the Current Themes of the Master's or Ph.D. Programmes; Alignment of the Mobility Project with the Applicant's Present Activities (Internship or Thesis) or Future Career Plans; Assessment of the Host Institution's Quality and Relevance; Evaluation of the Applicant's Academic Record in Terms of Quality and Pertinence.
     
  • up to €3,000*

 

*the amount is calculated based on a weekly flat rate of EUR 150 € with an increase of +50% for the first 4 weeks to cover travelling expenses.

*payment in two steps: 70% on arrival at the place of mobility and 30% at the end of the mobility period, subject to presentation of the compulsory documents 

Guidelines for application

 

  • Dowload and read the Application Check List available on our 'resources' page
  • Fill-out the application form in English or French
  • Navigate through the online application form, divided into different steps, each associated with one page. All registration steps can be modified prior to the final submission of the application (final step).
  • Submit a fully completed application online before the deadline.
  • Provide all the documents indicated as mandatory through the application form.
  • If you submit more than one application, only the most recent one will be considered.
  • After the submission of your application, you will receive an automatic acknowledgement of receipt by email (check your spam box if necessary).

Upload required documents

If you meet all the requirements and wish to apply for the Graduate Programme fellowships and relocation grants, the following list of documents should be attached to the application in PDF format:

STEP 1 -  APPLICATION

  • A Ulille certificate of registration for the current year
  • A signed placement agreement or prior agreement for your mobility 
  • Any other document you consider useful for the application

NB: you will be asked to give 250 words in support of your mobility request.

STEP 2 -  PAYMENT (70%)

  • Your final agreement signed by Ulille and the host establishment 
  • A signed arrival certificate (Graduate Programme form) available on our 'resources page'

STEP 3 - PAYMENT (30%)

  • Your mobility report (Graduate programme form) available on our 'resources page'

Each stage is a different form on the MoveOn portal. The number is indicated in the name of the form. All the documents indicated as mandatory must be provided through the application form. Incomplete applications will not be considered. No documents sent by e-mail will be processedIf you are missing a mandatory document, please attach a text file explaining your situation.
