Graduate Programme 'Digital humanities'

Presentation

One of the major challenges in the vast field of digital humanities concerns the status of generated documents, from an epistemological, legal, and strategic perspective. This issue is central to several Master's degree programs at the University of Lille, each of which examines it from a disciplinary perspective. The objective of the PG is to explore the concept of the document and its uses in greater depth, both in terms of current constraints and future prospects, given the emergence of new technologies and changes in national and transnational legislation. The PG addresses the ethics and accessibility of documents throughout the entire document chain, from production to circulation, from communication to regulation. It thus takes into account the traditional specificities of different types of documents (literary, archival, informational, etc.) and questions the evolution of these definitions in the new intermedia spaces opened up by digital technology.
